Our solid sterling silver Astronaut Pendant contains a genuine museum-grade piece of Moldavite that sits within the spacesuit, and for accuracy, the helmet visor is also gold enamel, just like the Apollo astronauts! Moldavites are fascinating products of cosmic nature and have been shown to be around 14.7 million years old. The most popular explanation of their origin is that they were formed during the impact of a large meteorite, or comet nuclei, with the Earth’s surface.
