This official SpaceX display contains a genuine segment of the SpaceX ORBCOMM-2 Merlin engine tubing. This SpaceX mission was the first time that the first stage of an orbital rocket made a successful return and vertical landing, marking a historic moment in both SpaceX and spaceflight history. The flown-in-space tubing was used in the Merlin engines that powered the vehicle's launch and landing at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida on 21st December 2015. The flown-in-space award comes with a black acrylic display stand and is numbered 100 of 800.
