DESCRIPTION
This high-altitude Death Star surface panel segment was created for Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. During the film’s climactic battle, Rebel starfighters skim the surface of the battle station as they launch their final attack. Panels of this distinctive design are visible in a wide establishing shot, revealing the towering structures spread across the Death Star’s exterior. The piece was designed and built by the model miniature department at Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) for use in high-altitude photography of the expansive Death Star surface set.

- Encased in a three-part acrylic block which measures approx. 9cm x 5.5cm
- Three-part acrylic block is held together by magnets
- Features a Star Wars photo card of Jabba's barge
- Includes a signed certificate of authenticity on the reverse
- Comes in a black, custom metallic "May the Prop be with you" box
- Prop segment can be carefully removed
