DESCRIPTION
This high-altitude Death Star II surface panel segment was produced for Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. In the film’s dramatic final battle, Rebel starfighters race just above the battle station’s surface as they begin their decisive assault. Segments of this distinctive design appear in a wide establishing shot, showcasing the immense towers and structural details that define the Death Star’s exterior.
The miniature was designed and constructed by Industrial Light & Magic’s (ILM) model miniature department specifically for high-altitude filming of the large-scale Death Star surface set, helping bring the scope and realism of the iconic space station to life.

- Encased in a three-part acrylic block which measures approx. 9cm x 5.5cm
- Three-part acrylic block is held together by magnets
- Features a Star Wars photo card of Jabba's barge
- Includes a signed certificate of authenticity on the reverse
- Comes in a black, custom metallic "May the Prop be with you" box
- Prop segment can be carefully removed
