This official Apollo 7 Pin is 1 inch in diameter and was manufactured by AB Emblem. Apollo 7 was the 1st manned launch of the program and the first manned mission after the Apollo 1 tragedy. The crew consisted of Commander Wally Schirra, Lunar Module Pilot Walt Cunningham and Command Module Pilot Don Eisele. After a 21 month flight suspension due to the fire and CSM redesign, Apollo 7 successfully launched on October 11, 1968.
