This incredible piece of spaceflight history is part of our exclusive Space Series. This booster pack contains a micro fragment of genuine Apollo 8 Command Module flown thermal foil.
Thermal foil was attached to the Aft, Forward, and Main sections of the Command Module and protected the crew compartment and temperature-sensitive sections of the spacecraft from the extreme temperatures of deep space. The thermal foil contained within this booster pack came from the Aft section of the Apollo 8 Command Module.
Also included in this pack is a collectible authenticity information card, as well as an acrylic display disc to hold your historic piece of space flown memorabilia.
