DESCRIPTION
A genuine swatch of Wampa fur used in the production of Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980). This genuine segment of Wampa fur is an offcut from the original full-size Hoth Wampa that was taken out to Norway for filming. Wampas were a carnivorous, white-furred species of mammal that dwelled on the snow-clad planet, Hoth. In the movie, this was the creature that knocked Luke Skywalker unconscious and left him dangling upside down in its ice cave while it feasted on Luke's tauntaun.
This Wampa fur came from the collection of Stuart Freeborn, the legendary make-up and creature effects artist responsible for the creation of some of the most famous Star Wars characters from the original trilogy, including Yoda, Chewbacca and Greedo.

- Encased in a three-part acrylic block which measures approx. 9cm x 5.5cm x 1.5cm
- Three-part acrylic block is held together by magnets
- Features a Star Wars photo card of the Wampa
- Includes a signed certificate of authenticity on the reverse
- Comes in a black, custom metallic "May the Prop be with you" box
- Prop segment can be carefully removed
