SpaceX Flown Red NASA Worm Patch
This patch flew into space aboard the SpaceX CRS-23 Falcon 9/Dragon spacecraft to the International Space Station on 29th August 2021 at 07:14:49 UTC, as part of the MISSE-15 payload, and returned to Earth aboard the SpaceX CRS-25 Dragon spacecraft on 20th August 2022 at 18:53 UTC. The patch set spent 356 days in space from launch to landing, orbiting Earth 5696 times and traveling 145,248,000 nautical miles.

DESCRIPTION
Own your very own NASA patch that was launched into space aboard SpaceX CRS-23 Falcon 9/Dragon on 29th August 2021, and that is due to return to Earth in August 2022! Your flown-in-space patch will come attached to a certificate of authenticity. The patch can be removed from the certificate easily in the event that you want to have it attached to an item of clothing. If you have opted for a velcro backing, the certificate and patch will arrive separately.

Authentication Information:
This flown-in-space patch is from our private collection and is part of the 4th payload that we arranged to be carried to and from the International Space Station. The payload launched up to the International Space Station on 29th August 2021 at 07:14:49 UTC and docked a day later on 30th August 2021 at 15:00 UTC. Currently in orbit, the payload is due to return to Earth in August 2022, after spending approximately 12 months in space, orbiting Earth 12000 times, and travelling 150 million nautical miles.
About the Flown-in-Space Patch:
The patch is made up of two parts; the front and back. The front is made of high-quality fabric with the NASA logo printed directly onto it, this is the part that is flown into space. The rear side is made of a high-quality embroidered base, this part is not flown into space due to NASA's flight weight restrictions, and is added by us post-flight. This means that the front of the patch is flown-in-space, while the embroidered back is not.
