This NASA pin patch flew into space aboard the Northrop Grumman Cygnus NG-15 spacecraft, otherwise known as the S.S. Katherine Johnson, to the International Space Station on 20 February 2021 at 17:36:50 UTC, as part of the MISSE-14 payload. Throughout the mission, the pin orbited Earth while attached to the MISSE platform stationed outside the International Space Station before returning to Earth aboard the SpaceX CRS-24 Dragon spacecraft on 24 January 2022 at 21:05 UTC. The pin spent 338 days in space from launch to landing, orbiting Earth 5408 times and traveling 119.8 million nautical miles.
